Stephen has been rector of St. David's since March 1996. He was born and brought up on a Wiltshire farm, and studied for ordination at Wycliffe Hall. He was a curate in Christ Church Cockfosters, St. Michael's Paris, and All Souls, Langham Place. Married to Gillian, with three children, Bethan, Daniel and Anna, his favourite non-church pursuits are fishing, golfing and trying to spot hoopoes!
Claire has been on the staff of St. David's for about 20 years, having been a member of the church since September 1996. Previously she studied at Plymouth, then worked for Hewlett Packard in Bristol, before doing a year on the Cornhill course in London. Claire oversees Friday Club, and helps with Women's Bible Study, Mums and Tots, home groups and visiting.
Ben grew up in Surrey, and studied mathematics at Cambridge University, then theology at Oak Hill College.. He is married to Suzy, and they have three children, Molly, Dylan and Finlay. Ben now combines a part-time PhD with work as Pioneer Minister, overseeing the work on the new estates in Moreton, as well as looking after Sunday@930. He loves sport, films, music of all kinds - and playing with the kids!
Margo has been a member of St. David's for about 19 years, with husband Rob, and two sons, James and Jonny. Margo is our Church Administrator, but she also looks after the running of St. David's Centre, co-ordinating the bookings, and making sure all runs smoothly. In her spare time she used to run the local branch of the Mothers Union and helps with Sunday Club!
Rob joined our staff team, as our Children's and Youth Worker in September 2015. Rob comes from Whitehaven, in Cumbria, and having graduated from York University, completed a two-year course on the North West Gospel Partnership Training Course. He helps with leading Sunday Club and children's work, as well as helping with Big Fish and the Bridge.
Ian is the most recent member of the staff team. He has been ordained for around 40 years, and served in parishes in North and central London, Eynsham, and Basingstoke. He, and his wife, Ruth, have recently retired from full-time ministry, to Moreton, where he helps out in all aspects of the ministry, as our part-time Associate Minister.
