Sandy and Kirsten Russell, with their children Vi and Kameran, have been living amongst Kurdish people for a number of years, and have recently been involved in a new Kurdish translation of the Bible. Sandy works for Biblica, the International Bible Society, and regularly pays visits to the Middle East to encourage believers and strengthen the local church. They are heavily involved in a number of relief and aid projects, dealing with refugees and many victims of the Syrian and Iraqi conflicts. They have recently moved back to the UK, and are living in Kilburn in London, but they still travel frequently to the Middle East.
Vi has just completed her studies at Cambridge and is now spending a year working for UCCF as one of their relay workers. Kameran has just started year 9 at school in London.
